Statuses & Meanings

Agepop uses colors and illustrations for status.

Here we show you what statuses you can expect in the AgePop software. Each status has a combination of a color and an illustration

Waiting for scan

AgePop waits for an identity document to be scanned.

This is a placeholder default screen, which is only visible when you are not running AgePop from the system tray.

?

Busy Scanning

AgePop has detected that the scanner is collecting information.

While waiting for the required information to be collected and processed, you will see this screen.

?

Age is OK

AgePop has carried out all checks and verifications and the result is positive.

And a correct age without further problems shows a green screen with poppy and a green flag.

34

Age between limits

AgePop has checked the age and it falls between the 2 set limits.

A yellow screen with poppy and a yellow flag indicates that the age falls between the 2 set limits (default 16-18)

17

Age Failed

AgePop has checked the age and it is below the lowest limit.

A red screen with a poppy and a red stop sign indicates that the age is below the lowest limit and has been rejected

13

Check Failed

AgePop checked the age. But another check failed.

An orange screen with poppy and a stop sign indicates a failed check. Think of document expired or checksum errors.

34

Problen during scanning

AgePop tried to scan a document but something went wrong.

A blue screen with poppy and a question mark indicates that AgePop has detected an error while scanning and processing the identity document.
